Mumford & Sons - “White Blank Page”
I’ve been listening to this group a bit over the last year…there is something enchanting about the banjo pitted against an acoustic guitar and a cello, the the husky voice of the lead singer. They ooze with indie-influence but don’t quite fit into the category of folk indie or indie rock like Noah and the Whale and The Maccabees. Their lyrics sometimes can be slightly predictable but I’m a sucker for those pining, sorrowful romantic lyrics.
